Speech therapy is a great way for clients to re-establish a level of independence following a stroke, traumatic brain injury, or in the event of cognitive decline due to age related impairments. Other clients benefit from speech therapy services to limit the decline of cognitive-linguistic, swallowing and vocal impairments as a result of progressive diseases such as Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, different types of dementia, ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) or other neurological impairments. Our younger clients work on articulation, language, pragmatics and behavioral concerns related to attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders and autism spectrum disorder.
